Plants & Turf Co.

About Plants & Turf Co.

North of Westerville the ground opens toward Genoa Township, and the weather shows itself early out there — thunderheads stacking up in July, the first white line of a squall in November. Plants & Turf Co. keeps both ends of that year: mowing, trimming and edging while the grass runs, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the drives need it. The turf side is patience, week after week of even cuts; the snow side is speed, whatever hour it starts. A property tended in both directions never has that neglected stretch between one season and the next. Same ground, two kinds of work, all of it in this town.
