About M. Miller Construction

West Salem wakes early because the farms do, and in January that means headlights moving on the township roads before anyone has thought about breakfast. M. Miller Construction runs the plow through those hours, opening farm lanes and village driveways in northern Wayne County while the wind off the open ground tries to fill them back in. Snow here has a habit of stacking against the windbreaks and then reaching across the road in long white fingers. Widening a lane a second time, pushing the bank all the way back, is what keeps it open until the thaw. Salt on the walk, a careful blade on the gravel, and the day gets to happen the way it was planned.
