About Peterman Brothers Tree Service LLC

Little Darby Creek keeps its own hours through West Jefferson, and the big sycamores along it keep theirs. Peterman Brothers Tree Service LLC works the yards and fencerows of this flat Madison County grain country, where a single bur oak in an open field is a landmark the whole road knows by name. The work is tree removal when a trunk has gone hollow, tree trimming and pruning to open a crown so light reaches the grass beneath, and storm damage cleanup after the weather comes across the corn with nothing to slow it down. There is real satisfaction in the last pass — the drive swept, the ruts raked smooth, the limb pile gone as though the wind had never called. What stays behind is a tree shaped to stand another fifty winters over a road that has watched it since it was a whip.
