Cutter's Lawncare

About Cutter's Lawncare

On a long June evening the streets of Mineral Ridge go gold at the far ends, and the smell of fresh-cut grass follows the truck all the way home. Cutter's Lawncare keeps a steady route through Weathersfield township, mowing, running the string trimmer down the fence lines, edging the walks, then blowing every stray blade back off the concrete. Houses here sit close, so the work is both neighborly and exact: no scalped corner at the culvert, no ragged strip left hiding under the hedge. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when a whole block reads as one continuous line of green. Come autumn the grass gives way to leaves, and they get the same attention until the yard is bare and even again.
