About Mario's Landscaping LLC

East of town the land opens out toward Caesar Creek, and on a January afternoon the wind off that lake has nothing to slow it before it reaches a driveway. Mario's Landscaping LLC is out in it — plowing drives and parking areas, clearing walkways and steps, spreading salt and de-icer where meltwater refreezes after dark. Warren County snow can be wet and heavy one week and dry and blowing the next, and each kind wants a different pass. The work ends the way it should: pavement showing, banks pushed back to leave room for the next storm, somebody's evening handed back to them. Nobody thinks twice about a cleared lot, and that is the compliment.
