Dunn with Pride

About Dunn with Pride

Waynesfield's dirt oval sleeps under white all winter while the grain fields around it hand the wind a straight, unbroken run at every driveway in town. Dunn with Pride answers that with plow and shovel, opening drives and farm lanes, clearing the walk to the door, and coming back when a drift rebuilds across the same gap it uses every year. Ice melt goes down where afternoon runoff refreezes at the step overnight. Snow is stacked where it will not wall in a mailbox or blow straight back across the pavement. Out here, a cleared drive by morning is the whole difference between an ordinary day and a lost one.
