About Delventhal Landscaping Inc

The Maumee runs shallow and loud over limestone at Waterville, past the old stone piers still standing in the current below Roche de Boeuf. A river like that sets the tempo of a year: high and brown in spring, low and green in August, black and steaming in a January cold snap. Delventhal Landscaping Inc works to that tempo — mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and cleanups through the growing months, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the wind comes across the water carrying ice. Lucas County winters are not long but they are abrupt, and a cleared drive at six in the morning outranks everything else. The rest of the year, it is the sharp edge along a walk that people notice.
