Somers Lawn & Tree

About Somers Lawn & Tree

The older streets of Washington Court House run beneath a canopy that changes everything about the light — dappled in August, bare and silver-lined in January when ice loads the limbs. Somers Lawn & Tree keeps the ground under it in order: mowing, trimming and edging through the warm months, leaves cleared once the canopy lets go. Winter shifts the work to snow — plowing drives, clearing lots, opening walks so the morning can proceed on schedule. Storms here travel across open country and arrive on town streets all at once, which makes an early start the entire strategy. Washington Court House and the villages out toward Jeffersonville make up the territory.
