About Harper's Landscaping

Mahoning Avenue in May is a tunnel of new maple leaves, and the lilacs in the front yards along it give the whole street about ten days of perfume. Harper's Landscaping opens the year in that stretch of spring, raking out winter's leftovers, mulching beds, and starting the weekly rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging. Early-season lawns are soft, so the first cuts get read carefully to keep wheels from marking wet ground. By June the routine settles and the yards start looking like themselves again. It is ordinary work, and it changes the look of a street.
