Market Street changes character twice a year: in October the maples let go all at once, and by December those same sidewalks need salt before the shops unlock. Eli's Landscaping runs with both turns, mowing, trimming, edging and clearing leaves while the season lasts, then plowing, shoveling and handling ice once the cold takes over. Autumn work is loud and satisfying, whole yards going from cluttered to bare in an afternoon. Winter work is quieter and earlier, measured in walks that are safe to cross and driveways opened wide enough for two cars. Warren serves up both extremes, sometimes inside the same week.
