A&L Yardwork

About A&L Yardwork

Downtown Warren still keeps a green square at its center, a common ringed by brick and courthouse stone where the town has always agreed to gather. A&L Yardwork carries that idea out to the side streets, where a mowed yard does the same small work of saying a place is looked after. The routine is mowing, string trimming, edging and clearing the clippings away, done in the order that leaves the least behind. The best minute of the day is the last one, when the line along a driveway comes up sharp as a pencil stroke and the whole lawn lies in one direction. Warren summers are humid and fast-growing, so the route bends week to week to keep up with whatever the rain has done.
