LeafStone Landscapes

About LeafStone Landscapes

There is shale and sandstone under Walton Hills, ledges of it stepping down through the Bedford Reservation woods, and there are maples above it that turn the whole village gold by the third week of October. LeafStone Landscapes works the year those two things make. Autumn is leaf removal and fall cutbacks; summer is mowing, trimming, edging and mulch; and once the ground locks up it is plowing, shoveling and salting until the thaw. The job ends where it should — a bed edged sharp against the lawn, or a driveway cleared corner to corner with the salt already down. Walton Hills is a small village that likes to look kept, and this is the work that keeps it that way.
