About Tackett Tree Experts

West of Vandalia the ground tips down toward the Stillwater, and in February the bottomland stands bare enough to count every limb a tree has. Tackett Tree Experts uses that season the way it ought to be used — pruning while the structure shows, clearing crossing branches and stubs, shaping crowns that will carry a summer of leaves without complaint. Larger removals happen then too, over frozen ground that will not rut, the trunk lowered a section at a time between the house and the fence. Come storm season the calls change: a leaning silver maple, a split ash, a drive to open, and those get answered as soon as the wind lays down. The result is the kind you appreciate in July, when the shade is even and nothing hangs over the roof.
