About Jeff's Lawn Services

The right hour for mowing in June is after supper, when the heat breaks and the smell of cut grass drifts down toward Poplar Creek. Jeff's Lawn Services keeps that hour — mowing, string trimming, edging, and the clippings cleared off before the light goes. Come winter the same trucks turn out at the other end of the day, plowing drives, shoveling walks, salting the spots that ice first. Two seasons, two hours, one set of yards learned by heart. It makes for good work to leave behind: a lawn even and open in summer, a drive clean and dark in February.
