About George The Handyman
Out on the township lanes north of Vandalia the snow drifts against the fencerows and the road crews come by late, if at all. George The Handyman handles the part that matters at your own address — the driveway opened, the front walk shoveled down to concrete, salt on the steps where ice glazes over. It is one-truck work, done in order, the kind where somebody already knows which drive has the hard turn at the bottom. Nothing about a winter morning is grand; it comes down to whether you can get the car out. Getting you out is the job.
