About Swordfish Lawn Service

Winter storms reach Warren County overnight, riding up the Ohio Valley while the township sleeps, and by four in the morning the back roads are one long white ribbon. Swordfish Lawn Service is awake for that hour: plowing drives and lots, shoveling steps and walkways, spreading salt where ice sets up hardest at the foot of a slope. The work gets finished in the dark on purpose, so the first thing anyone sees at daybreak is bare pavement and a clear path to the car. There is a particular pride in a driveway opened before sunrise around Turtlecreek Township, Lebanon and Springboro, while the rest of the street is still shut in. Cold hands, warm truck, next stop.
