Shields Lawn Tamers

About Shields Lawn Tamers

Some yards in Troy go feral by mid-August — the creek-bottom lots toward Lost Creek especially, where the soil is rich, the shade is patchy, and everything grows twice. Shields Lawn Tamers takes those on gladly. The pleasure is in the before and after: knee-high grass knocked down, edges recut along the drive, the trimmer walked around each post, hydrant and downspout until the whole lot reads as one clean shape again. Then it goes back on a schedule, week by week, so it never gets away a second time. A tamed lawn in Troy holds its line clear through to the frost.
