Luck Lagoons

About Luck Lagoons

Where Toledo meets Maumee Bay the ground gives up on being land — cattails, quiet channels, herons standing in water the color of weak tea. Luck Lagoons carries that easy name inland to the work of keeping yards: mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanups through the growing season. Air off the lake keeps this corner of Ohio humid and the grass ambitious well into September. Meeting it on a schedule is what keeps a lawn looking intentional instead of merely alive. On a still evening near the water, a freshly cut yard is about as good as the view gets.
