HALOSCAPES

About HALOSCAPES

Terrace Park lets its sycamores lean out over the lanes, and the whole village sits on a shelf above the Little Miami with the trees doing most of the talking. HALOSCAPES keeps up with both halves of the year here — mowing, trimming and edging the deep shaded lawns in summer, then plowing and shoveling those same narrow drives when a January system comes up the valley. Winter mornings, the work is done before the school bus turns onto Wooster Pike: pavement cleared, steps salted, the walk to the front door safe in slippers. Summer mornings, it is the smell of cut grass rolling across the green while the trail riders go by below. A village this small notices when its yards look cared for, and that is the reason to get the edges right.
