About Lawnmetology

Lawnmetology sounds like a field of study, and in a way it is: the patient science of how grass behaves on a Tallmadge lot through a sticky Summit County August. When the heat sits heavy and thunderheads stack up in the afternoon, a lawn needs the right blade height and a steady rhythm of cuts to stay green instead of fading to straw. Each yard gets read like a lab notebook: the shady strip under the maple, the sunny rise that dries out first, the corner where the rain always pools. Mowing, trimming and edging follow from those notes, aiming for turf that holds its color into September, with a sharp, clean line along the walk to prove the homework was done.
