Downtown Sylvania keeps its brick and its low storefronts along Main Street, and in October the whole strip goes copper for about ten days. Larberg Landscape Services spends that stretch just ahead of the leaves — mowing while the grass still grows, trimming edges tight, then clearing what has come down before it turns to mat. The rest of the year runs on the same weekly beat: height held, walks cleared after every cut. Yards here are older and shaped by the trees around them, so the work is as much about restraint as it is about the machine. By November the lawns go into the cold looking settled.
