The first mow of the year in Sutton always comes a week later than anyone wants — the hollows stay wet, the back roads stay soft, and then one bright morning the grass is ankle-deep everywhere at once. Josh's yard services meets that week head-on with mowing, trimming and a full clearing of winter's leftovers: the branches, the sodden leaves, the gravel thrown into the turf. Ridge yards drain fast and bottom yards do not, so each gets cut on its own schedule instead of on a route's convenience. What comes out of it is that April smell of fresh clippings and a yard that finally looks awake. From there it settles into a rhythm, week to week, straight through to the last cut of fall.
