About Western Land Works LLC

March lies here. The afternoons hit sixty, the ground softens, and then a storm parks over the Palmer Divide and drops the wettest, heaviest snow of the entire year overnight. Western Land Works LLC shows up for that one — plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, hauling and stacking piles where they will not refreeze back across the pavement. Spring snow at this elevation turns to concrete by noon and is gone by Thursday, so the trick is being early enough to matter. There is something good about looking back down a drive you have just opened, the Rampart Range white to the west and water already running at the curb.
