D1 Lawn and Landscape

About D1 Lawn and Landscape

When a lake-effect band drifts down off Erie and settles over Portage County overnight, February in Streetsboro begins in the dark. D1 Lawn and Landscape runs both halves of the year here — plowing, shoveling and salting driveways, lots and walkways in winter, then mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups once the ground softens. There is nothing quite like turning onto a street at five in the morning with the snow untouched and leaving it behind you opened, salted and ready for the commute. Come April the same trucks haul mowers instead of blades, and the grass along Tinkers Creek comes up fast and green. Two halves of the year, the same address list, the same care in both.
