About Daddy at Work Landscaping

Stokes Township wraps around the shallow water of Indian Lake, and half the yards here belong to cottages that only wake up when the weather turns warm. Daddy at Work Landscaping gets them ready and keeps them that way — cutting, trimming, edging along seawalls and gravel parking strips, with a cleanup before the season opens and another after it lets out. Lakeside grass takes wind and sand and a great deal of foot traffic, so it is left a touch tall and cleaned up close. A Saturday-morning lawn, mown while the water is still glass, is the version of this place people drive hours to sit in. Come October, when the docks come out and the water goes grey, the leaves still need moving, and they get moved.
