About Ohio Valley Landscaping

A towboat pushing a string of barges takes a long while to pass Steubenville — you can watch it from Route 7 and it barely seems to move, and then it's gone around the bend. Ohio Valley Landscaping works at about that pace and with about that steadiness: mowing, trimming, and edging week after week through the green season, plowing and salting through the cold one. The river bottoms grow grass thickly and hold winter's damp just as well, so both jobs get done on the valley's terms. A cut lawn with true edges in August, a drive scraped down to dark pavement in February — different work, same care. This stretch of the Ohio is home, and the properties along it are looked after that way.
