About Roop's Landscape Services, LLC

Winter comes at this township across open country: nothing between the Auglaize County fields and the wind but a fencerow, so snow travels sideways and piles wherever it pleases. Roop's Landscape Services runs the dark end of those nights, clearing driveways and lots so the first cars out can find the road under them. By April the same routes turn green, the St. Marys River runs high and brown beneath the bridges, and the work becomes mowing, trimming and hauling off whatever winter left in the corners. There is plain pride in both halves — pavement scraped bare, and a lawn edged so cleanly the line looks drawn with a straightedge. Plowing and salting through the cold months, lawn care through the warm ones, all of it within a short drive of home.
