About Howard's Landscaping

Come October the maples in Snyder Park let go all at once, and every yard in the Champion City gets a gold blanket it never asked for. Howard's Landscaping answers that with rakes, blowers and a truck bed filled three times before dusk — leaf removal, fall cleanup, the last mowings tapered down as the growing slows. Springfield's lawns run from narrow lots on the brick streets to broad ones out where the county roads begin, and each takes a slightly different pass. Beds get cut back and edged so the shape of a property still reads under November's flat grey light. Grass shorn even, walks swept, the line held sharp — a yard put to bed properly, waiting on the thaw.
