Cutlip's Lawncare

About Cutlip's Lawncare

The hill north of downtown where Wittenberg sits is old shade — oaks and sycamores that have been dropping limbs and leaves on the same lawns for a very long time. Cutlip's Lawncare works under that canopy, mowing between surface roots, trimming tight to retaining walls, edging the walks and clearing whatever the trees send down. Shade lawns are their own puzzle: thin in the heat of July, thick again in the cool of September, and they answer best to a lighter, more frequent touch. Nothing about a well-kept yard announces itself, which is exactly the point of doing it right. Springfield neighborhoods and the nearby towns of Enon, New Carlisle and Tremont City.
