About Sommers Excavating LLC.

Three in the morning in Somers Township, the sky low and orange over the snow, and the long lanes out to the barns are filled in axle-deep. Sommers Excavating LLC. pushes those wide — drives, farm lanes and lots opened up, with the banks set back where they will not narrow the way in by the next storm. Walkways and doorways are cleared and salted before the first chores of the day. Heavy snow has to go somewhere, and stacking it correctly on the first pass is what keeps the rest of the winter from closing in around a place. By sunrise the ground is open and everything on the property can move again.
