About Ledge Hill Landscaping

The land south of Somers lifts into wooded ridges and rolls down toward Acton Lake, and every rise puts a pitch in somebody's driveway. Ledge Hill Landscaping plows those grades in February, when a thaw at noon and a freeze at dusk can turn a cleared drive into a slide by dark. Plowing down to the pavement, then salting where the slope is steepest and at the turn by the garage, is what keeps a hill drivable. Walks and steps get cleared by hand so nobody has to pick their way down them. When the sun finally breaks over the snow-lined woods, the drive is open and the day can go on.
