September is when a northern-Ohio lawn tells the truth. The clay under Solon has spent all summer packing itself tight, and water starts running off instead of soaking in — until the aerator crosses it and lifts thousands of cores, and the whole yard opens back up to air and rain. Those little plugs scattered across the grass look like nothing much and mean everything; by the following spring the roots are deeper and the turf sits thicker underfoot. Core aeration, seed dropped straight into the openings, and the feeding and mowing that make it hold. Serving Solon and the surrounding communities.
