About Ahola’s Nature Care Landscape LLC

Late June in Solon the light hangs on past nine, and one by one the mowers go quiet across town until you can hear the ballfields at Solon Community Park again. This is lawn work in country built on heavy northern-Ohio clay — ground that holds water in April and sets like a dinner plate in August, and rewards anyone patient enough to feed it and cut it high. Mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulch worked into the beds, and the cleanups at either end of the growing year. The aim is simple enough to say out loud: a lawn that looks unhurried, dense right out to its edge, green all the way to the sidewalk. Solon, Bainbridge and the streets close in, one yard at a time.
