Ej Mowing

About Ej Mowing

Out here the land lies flat enough that a July afternoon shimmers all the way to the horizon, and the sky over Shelby County does most of the talking. Ej Mowing takes it in long straight passes — deck set high for the heat, lines laid parallel, trimming and edging afterward so the whole yard carries a border. Sidney summers can swing from downpour to dust inside the same week, and the mowing schedule bends to keep up with them. There is something plainly good about a wide open lawn cut clean under that much sky. The route runs through Sidney and out to Anna, Botkins, Jackson Center, Port Jefferson and Maplewood.
