About Neighbor Dan's Yard Services

Sherrodsville sits in the crook of the Carroll County hills, where Atwood Lake holds the morning still enough to double the treeline. Neighbor Dan's Yard Services keeps lawns here mowed and trimmed on the slopes that run down toward the water, where a yard is rarely flat and never the same grade twice. Summer brings the long green of lake weather, and autumn drops maple and oak across every terrace at once — both get handled, week after week. The satisfaction is in the finish: turf stopping square where the gravel drive begins, a yard that reads cared-for from the road at dusk. Around Sherrodsville, Dellroy, Leesville and the lake roads between them, the work is simple and it shows.
