About Icon Tree Services

Everything in Sheffield Lake answers to the water: the north wind comes straight off Lake Erie, throws spray at the bluff in November, and leans on every tree between the beach and the highway. Icon Tree Services works with that lean instead of against it — thinning crowns so the gusts pass through, pruning back limbs that scrape a lakefront roof, removing the ones the wind has already half-won. Shore lots are narrow, so the job calls for rigging rather than room, and the wood comes down in sections over the driveways and the flower beds. When a squall runs the shoreline and leaves branches across the streets, the storm cleanup starts early and does not quit until the yards look like themselves again. On a clear evening after, with lake light coming through an opened canopy, the change is the kind you can see from the porch.
