Electron Lawn

About Electron Lawn

Sunrise over Lower Shaker Lake is a slow gray-to-gold affair, and the herons stand in Doan Brook like they hold the deed. Electron Lawn starts its Shaker Heights route in that early hour, mowing and trimming while the dew is still heavy enough to print every wheel track on the grass. Fertilizer goes down on schedule, edges are held tight to the drive, and the beds get cleared of whatever crept in since last week. Something about leaving a street squarer and quieter than you found it sits well with a person. By the time the neighborhood is properly awake, the truck is two blocks on.
