Cleveland Aeration

About Cleveland Aeration

Under every Fernway lawn is the same stubborn clay, packed tight by a century of footsteps and freeze. Cleveland Aeration arrives in the cool part of autumn, when the maples are going copper, and pulls cores out of that ground so air and water and seed can finally reach the depth where roots actually live. The plugs sit on the surface for a week and then quietly disappear, and the following spring the difference shows in color alone. Overseeding follows the tines, mowing keeps it honest, and the fall cleanup lifts the leaves off before they mat down. It is unglamorous work with a slow, visible payoff — the kind Shaker Heights lawns pay back generously.
