About Acacia Landscape Group

Lake Erie sends its snow uphill. By the time a squall band reaches the ridge above Cleveland it has thickened, and Shaker Heights collects inches while the lakefront gets flurries — which is why Acacia Landscape Group watches radar the way other people watch a clock. The routes run the side streets off Warrensville Center Road first, then the drives, then salt into the shaded stretches where ice outlasts the noon sun. The work gets measured in small mercies: a car that backs out without spinning, a mail carrier who never has to guess where the walk is. When the bands finally break apart over the eastern suburbs, the crew is still out, finishing.
