All Seasons Mow And Snow

About All Seasons Mow And Snow

Seven Hills rides the high ground where Cuyahoga County tips down into the river valley, and weather tends to find the ridge first. All Seasons Mow And Snow takes the year in its two long halves — mowers, trimmers and cleanups while the grass is running, plows and salt once the wind swings around off the lake. Summer begins with dew still on the sloped backyards; winter begins in the dark, with a driveway scraped open and a walk cleared before anyone has found their keys. Cutting even passes on ground that never lies flat is its own small art, and so is the moment a buried apron turns back into pavement. Those same two rhythms carry over into Independence, Parma, Broadview Heights and Brecksville.
