Yard Squad Lawn Care

About Yard Squad Lawn Care

Winter in Sandusky comes off the water rather than out of the sky: a squall gathers over Lake Erie, crosses the bay, and by four in the morning the driveways out along Venice Road are under a fresh grey inch. Yard Squad Lawn Care keeps those hours, plowing lots and pushing back the ridge the city plow leaves at the apron, shoveling walks and salting steps so the first car out at dawn finds nothing but pavement. There is a real satisfaction in a drive cleared before the streetlights go off, while the bay ice is still creaking somewhere past the piers. Come summer the same routes turn green and the work turns to mowing, edging and trimming, cutting a clean line where turf meets the sidewalk and hauling off the clippings. Sandusky's streets run downhill to the shoreline, so every lawn here is a small slope facing the lake, and it deserves to look tended from the top of the block. That is the whole job: show up early, leave the ground better than you found it, move on to the next house.
