Blades of Glory

About Blades of Glory

At noon in July, Saltcreek Township goes still — the creek that gave the township its name running low and clear, cicadas working the treeline, heat standing over the hayfields. Blades of Glory takes on that hour with a mower and a good line, cutting, trimming and edging until a yard looks cool just to walk across. Midsummer grass out here can go from lush to scorched inside ten days, so cut height and timing matter every bit as much as the machine. The finish is what counts: no scalped humps, no missed strip along the fence, clippings blown off the concrete instead of left to bake. A yard done that way still looks sharp on the fourth evening after.
