About Rob's Outdoor Services, LLC

Some Salem Township storms begin as rain, turn to sleet around supper, and by nine o'clock have glazed everything from the porch step to the county line. Those are the nights Rob's Outdoor Services, LLC is out in the dark — plowing, opening walks, putting salt down before the refreeze locks it all in place. Winter here is not one big event; it is thirty small ones, a clipper every few days, and the drives that stay open are the ones somebody keeps after. Finishing a walkway at eleven at night is its own kind of reward, and so is a first step out the next morning that lands on grit instead of glass. By the time the township wakes up, the hard part has already been carried.
