About Baird's Landscaping

Head out of Salem in any direction and the town gives way fast to hayfields, fence lines and barns standing at the far end of long gravel drives. Baird's Landscaping keeps lawns cut and trimmed along those roads and back in the in-town neighborhoods, then turns to plow blades and shovels once the fields go pale and the drives begin to fill. Out where the wind has room to run, snow does not so much fall as travel, packing itself hard against the north side of everything it meets. A drive opened at first light in that country is no small thing — it is the difference between an ordinary Tuesday and a truck buried to the axle. Between the two halves of the year the habit hardly changes: show up, do the whole length of it properly, and leave the place looking handled.
