About ALAWN & Landscape Service LLC

Salem sits up on the high ground of Columbiana County, where the land can't decide which way to send its water and the wind comes across open fields with nothing to slow it down. ALAWN & Landscape Service LLC works those blocks of brick storefronts and deep back yards, mowing lawns through the green months and clearing driveways and lots once winter takes hold of the plateau. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut down the same line twice, and in a walk that is bare and passable before the coffee finishes brewing. Summer here runs long and humid; the snow that reaches Salem tends to arrive fine and sideways, drifting against garage doors overnight. The work comes down to this — keep the grass even, keep the pavement open, and let the rest of the day belong to the people who live here.
