Ohio Valley Lawn care (OVLC)

About Ohio Valley Lawn care (OVLC)

Before daylight in January, fog lies in the hollows below the ridge and the wind coming up out of the Ohio Valley puts a skin of ice on everything it touches. Ohio Valley Lawn care (OVLC) is out ahead of that, blade down, scraping the steep drives around Saint Clairsville open and laying salt on the grades where a car would otherwise slide back. When the thaw arrives the hills green up fast and the mowing season runs long, with cutting, trimming and cleanups on yards that fall away toward the creek bottoms. It is satisfying work in both directions: a lot cleared by first light in winter, a lawn cut level on unlevel ground in July. The valley takes weather from every side, and this is how the driveways stay usable.
