TTR Turf Control

About TTR Turf Control

Late afternoon in January, Portage County gets that flat blue cold where the sky lowers itself onto the fields and the light gives out early. TTR Turf Control runs those evening rounds — plowing the drive, opening the walk from the door to the car, salting the places that refreeze once the sun quits. Storms here have a habit of trailing off and then starting over again at ten at night, which is why the second pass matters as much as the first. Rootstown's roads are long and open and the wind rewrites them, so the work is as much about anticipating drift as pushing snow. A cleared drive under a porch light on a bitter night is a small thing that changes a whole evening.
