About Yost Landscaping & Nursery Inc

East of Ravenna the town thins out into township — a fence line, a hayfield, a barn roof going silver — and on a May morning the dew holds on everything until the sun clears the rise toward Charlestown. Yost Landscaping & Nursery Inc keeps lawns out in that in-between country and in the older streets closer in, where the soil is glacial clay and a good yard is an argument won slowly. Mowing on a steady week, trimming tight around posts and downspouts, feeding in spring and again when the nights cool, then edging the beds and mulching them before the heat comes. Start early enough and you can still hear redwings in the wet ground down the road over the sound of the mower. What's left when the dew burns off is plain and worth having: straight lines, a soft edge along the drive, a lawn that looks like the season is going well.
