About Top Landscaping

Ravenna's afternoons arrive gold and slantwise, light coming down through the maples above Chestnut Hills Park while Breakneck Creek keeps up its slow conversation on the way to the Cuyahoga. Top Landscaping works the yards under that light — mowing in clean parallel passes, trimming the fence lines, cutting an edge along the walk so crisp it looks drawn with a straightedge. Portage County ground is glacial ground, heavy and stubborn after a wet June, so a lawn here earns its green: feeding it, keeping the weeds off it, pulling the beds back into shape and laying the mulch down dark. By the time the light goes long, the clippings are cleared and the drive is blown clean, and the yard has that settled hush a homeowner notices before they've finished parking. That is the whole point of the day's work — one more street in Ravenna where a lawn looks like somebody meant it.
