Portage Turf and Pest

About Portage Turf and Pest

Green-up arrives in Portage County almost overnight, one warm week in April turning every dull lawn in Ravenna a startling new color. Portage Turf and Pest builds the season around that — mowing and trimming on a regular route, edging, aeration and overseeding where the turf runs thin, weed control and lawn treatments to keep it dense, and cleanups at either end of the year. Come winter the work shifts to plowing drives and lots, salting the slick spots, and clearing walkways once a storm passes. Thick grass in June and open pavement in January both come down to showing up on time. The county's name is on the sign for a reason.
